MASTERCLASS The knowledge and experience off grass growth that SGL has gathered in the last years is now being offered through workshops/seminars. The SGL Masterclass is introduced by SGL to raise the level of knowledge and experience with groundsmen across Europe. In every meeting a specific topic in grass growth and pitch maintenance will be discussed with and presented by experts and several project locations will be visited. The following topics will, amongst others, be discussed:  - Cultivational aspects SGL Concept - Pitch maintenance - Working with the SGL Analyser - Use of different cultivars and mixtures - The effect of stadium design on pitch growth - Pre- and post match maintenance - Comparison of lighting hours and maintenance By combining and sharing knowledge and experience SGL believes that the knowledge level of groundsmen can be improved. This will benefit the quality of the pitch and the groundsman will have more fun in doing his job. The SGL projects will play an important role in the SGL Masterclass. Several product data will be compared, such as analyses from the SGL Analyser and maintenance- and climate data. Currently the Masterclass is only open to groundsmen at SGL Projects.
