R&D SGL is constantly improving its knowledge of grass growth and pitch management. Therefore several tests are performed at our test centre in Waddinxveen. As with our former test centre in Aalsmeer, several tests are executed to investigate the factors that influence grass growth. The SGL Test Centre consists of four different sections, each section simulating a different environment. Different light intensities are being tested and also a revolutionary new test is done with the application of CO2. 
By means of the SGL Analyser the results are accurately measured and analysed. The four testing sections have the same shade effect as in a standard stadium and the sections are also treated like (football)pitches. Matches are simulated with a professional treading machine. |
